Basically layered a 200hz snare body, similar to a 909, low-passed and saturated. Added in a transient sound, then a certain impact sound that you wouldn't expect, layered together with some high end white noise, compressed, then used a transient shaper for that final touch.

The fundamentals of this patch is from the doepfer home pagehttp://www. Doepfer. De/a100_man/a100_patch. Htmthe patch they call "random melody". I call the sound "random melody from doepfer site". Boring. . . I added a voice with some delay/reverb fx and some simple drums. The high-hat is made from white noise and the bass drum isa self oscillating filter. I have used a minor scale on my doepfer a-157 quantizer. This sound is slitly treated in audacity. A little compressor and limiter. Review from one of my kids: "well, there is some rhythm".

Recorded on september 4, 2020 on an ipad. Some parts or maybe even all of it may sound like just noise to some people. It was recorded in a government fenced in square. So there are buildings on 3 sides of my location and a gated entrance at the front. It is mainly drums that are played for a dragon dance. These dances are performed at special occasions, such as a new business opening. There is a troop of about 8 people there to perform the dance. For the first half of the recording, the two dragons (four people) were preparing and they were actually performing the dance for the second half of this recording.

Amount of sounds recorded on the field : a construction site of a power plant where i worked. Sounds of tools and electrical devices, some motors, ventilation, people talking, metallic sounds (pieces of metal structures, doors, pipes which i played drums with), sounds of shoes with rubber outsole. Sounds mostly from the inside and a bit outside. Sometime the quality is not the best as i hid my recorder.

I recorded this on my yamamha pocketrak directly off my simmons drum amp using my epiphone sg with a vibrato pedal and a little whammy bar. One track duplication for each effect. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :-).

A series of nondescript samples recorded in a fashion inspired by error. They are made so that even if they are arranged in a rhymthmicaly correct order, they still sound horrible. The samples come from unearthed past tracks.

This is almost the same kick drum i´ve uploaded previously, but this has more compression and overtones in the sub bass, along with an interesting technique i´ve been doing, lemme explain. . . I put the original sample twice in my daw (fl studio if you ask),leave the first sound like it is and the second sample is being equalized in a way that only the sub bass is being showed, so i added to that the saturation plugin ivgi2 from klangheim industries and slammed it with the plugin ott by xfer records about 9 times. Equalized the sound again to cut the sub bass and leave the raw high end sound you hear, finally added an izotope ozone imager to make it wider.

Remix of this::. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/bronxio/sounds/239080/. Pitched it up an octave, gave it a saw hpf lfo, and a saw vol gate (cleans up the rhythm) then added the original octave lower in the mix. Made it sound more digitized. Good sound for starting off a track. 고맙습니다.

This is a short wavefile of really bad drums and a crying baby. To be used properly, it needs to be turned way up. This sound has a story behind it - i made this up for one purpose, and one purpose only - to temporarily blast my long-term loud neighbors into realizing that 'they' are now the victims. They "were" relentless at playing loud music continuously, and it was a hot humid day,no air-con, and i had a lot of wine. That's all it took - so i blasted them(at an amazing close range)with 200+ watts of drums'n'babies, just long enough for them to figure out that this just might continue, and that it isn't a nice sound. Bottom line - the technique was highly effective.

An instrumental piece i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I combined a beat i made on a drum machine with one i made on sampled drums to make it really swing. I added a cocky simple bassline to build more sounds to. Strings, horns and synth sounds were added as well. . . . Could be useful in anything cool, intro, outro, game, dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific, mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. This is a "clap" that i recorded very roughly simply by tapping my fingernail on a ceramic radiator (yes, it did hurt a little bit)it sounds very lo fi and organic, and there is a slight metallic resonance to it.

This is a series of sounds created for spitfire audio's make music day 2020 #spitfiremmd2020 it is a plastic drum, a springy pot rack and a big metal chip bin. A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.

Recorded on a pearl drumset. Only one of the tams, the bassdrum and the hi-hat is played. Recorded in a practising room located at the the former base for the american military in iceland. Recorded through a yamaha preamp. Sound altered slghty in cubase, adding reverb as well as compression to the file. Enjoy !.
